Phones do slow down due to increased of cache and offline data stored inside the phone. Remember when the phone is being formatted, it will restored to its original backup, which means the original data is still sit inside the phone.

Yes they do, I've had several Galaxy phones, they do tend to slow down.

The old 'Flagship' phones dont slow down, the processor in the new ones are just faster.

I still use my S20 FE the only problem I have is battery life and RAM issues when switching apps or multi-tasking.

They do and I did a test yesterday with my dad which bought 8 month ago s23 ultra and he said that day look my s23 ultra is faster than your 13 pro max, yesterday the phone was 2x slower than iPhone, was hanging, animation were stuttering, lagging, it is what it is with android the system is just made for lagging overtime to buy new phone, nowadays iPhone 13 Pro Max does great and I’m pretty sure it will available for anyone for 10 years in the same condition.😊

Note and S series doesn't lag much, even 6, 7 generations old, the A series cheaper ones do

I have been using samsung flagships for past 12 years.. Last 2 phones, note 8 and s20 plus had display issues.. so i think its not the software, but the hardware of newer phones don't last as much compared to older phones. I used my s3 and note 3 almost 3+ years but note 8 and s20+ had display issues from 2nd year onwards. Don't know how long will the s23 ultra last.

Agree with u completely. Samsung or rather the Samsung phones have gotten smarter over the years. Still using note 20 since 3 yrs. Still not keen to change the phone as it is running buttery smooth. No lags nothing.

This is not a right comparison btw . The problem is when you actually use the phone as a everyday driver you will notice how slow it become. I wonder samsung may send some software to slow down the processor speed at times like few years ago iphone did to save the battry performance ( its what they called)

In addition to that whats app really make ur phone a disaster if u like one of me who dont delete whats app chat and keep it for record

Great comparison. I have been on the fold 4 (One Ui 5.1/Android 13) since it came out (absolutely love it..wish it was wider like Pixel fold). But my Samsung s20 Ultra (also updated and running One UI 5.1/Android 13) still runs like new with no slowdowns at all. I keep it plugged in when not used after all these years, and the battery still holds a full 100% charge with no noticeable discharge speedup . Samsung makes solid phones .
