Rancho Cordova is welcoming a new rental home community known as Tricon Sunridge with three and four-bedroom houses available in April starting at $3,059 per month.

But none of these newly-built homes will be going on the market for aspiring homeowners — as they were built in a trend real estate developers call "build-to-rent."

The real question is who owns them? Another country? LLC State of CA, developer, investors? Will it be sold right after they complete the subdivisions?

It looks like those yards are almost big enough to have a grill and patio chair at the same time!

3k ? Lol
That’s a mortgage payment .
I understand not for that house .
If you are spending 3k a month just buy an older house .
Better than throwing your money away .

THEY SHOULD ALSO MAKE SOME WITH A SMALLER FOOTPRINT TO GET A INCREASED MARKET DEMAND, BECAUSE SKYROCKETING PRICES IN HOUSING AND RENTALS HAVE DRIVEN A LOT OF PEOPLE AND RESIDENTS OUT OF CALIFORNIA.

It's the pretending that hurts the most.

Who TF wants to throw away their money away on rent …what we need is the prices to go down on homes so we can buy!

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency first by inflation then by deflation the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered... I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs."

Thomas Jefferson
