Damn, definitely not a good idea to criticise the man who's had two of his previous wives executed

This was a horrible film! Everything was wrong, except the names of the characters. Katherine would never have met with Ann Askew in the woods. She was never pregnant, so no miscarriage! She was never arrested; although there was a warrant for her arrest, it was discovered before it could be served, and Katherine reconciled with Henry. Not only did she NOT strangle him in his bed, she was not even present at his deathbed. There were several men there when Henry died. Even the macaw parrot was wrong! Parrots are native to South America and Australia, neither of which were known about in Henry's lifetime. This was an opportunity to portray a very interesting period of hustory and a very interesting woman, but the filmmakers made this travesty instead. PLEASE dont waste your time and money!

Horrible movie. Not sure what a black actress was doing there

Sadly the 21st century Woke-ism on period dramas make it all a mockery. At Henry's Court we have a African lady which definitely didn't occur. This Wok-ery to tick diversity is not telling how history was. Why not have.a WW2 film with a black SS General, you wouldn't so why do it here.

Abysmal period dialogue. “I really don’t know”—it’s the 16th century for God’s sake. All in all, yet another lazy period film about a fOrGottEn wOmAN. It’s interesting how all of Henry VIII’s wives are somehow so feisty and individualistic when we should have never known of their existence but for the intersection of their lives with his. They were each rather unextraordinary save perhaps Catherine of Aragon or Anne Boleyn. But… as ever… it’s the current trend to talk up female characters as more interesting or important than they actually were.

There's hope...I am the gate; whoever enters through me (Jesus/God) will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:9, 10 Repent/believe Jesus loves you live 4 Him!
