Muse - Unsustainable (No 'Dubstep' and More Vocals Remix)

This is an HD version of Unsustainable from the album, "The Second Law" (Muse, 2012) in which the 'wub' sounds labeled - for better or worse - 'dub step' have been removed.

The stitching is as seamless as I care to try. I have also doubled the amount of Matt's vocals - which in my opinion make this song so much better.

Second of all, yes I realise this song doesn't technically use "dubstep" as conceptualized in the most purist definition of it. This is why I put it in quotation marks. I am of course using the term more loosely to refer to any collection of what might otherwise be considered gimmicky sounds.

also, the original unsustainable is not dubstep, it's all made by a guitar, and it doesn't sound like typical dubstep, so please stop bringing it up.

It wasn't meant to come off as steamy as that, so I apologise :P And I wasn't actually aiming it at you, just the people who instantly think that it's dubstep, so they don't like it, it's presumptuous attitudes like that that annoy me, but yeah I see what you're saying... For what it's worth, I think the arrangement of the song isn't bad :)

Thanks this is so much better. I love muse but this is probably one of the only songs of theirs I can't listen to due to the dubstep in the middle of it. So fucking out of place.

while this is a good mix, i don't think it's anyone's business to say Muse's version is terrible, they had an idea, they experimented, and it's their vision, i think their song works well as it's the only song that ventures into that type of sounds, it feels unique, as much as i hated it early, it grew on me.

i like this. the dubstep part of unsustainable was just horrible. it was badly made and not really worthy of muse. if they really want to use dubstep they should have done it better. there's more to dubstep than skrillex.
