Thanks for mentioning that the screen has a darker shade of grey to it. I don't remember anyone mentioning this. As I am waiting for Amazon to launch the next generation Oasis, I was curious about this regard. I hope they won't go colour yet and wait a bit for the colour technology to improve.

Reminds me of the old gaming days, where it went from 8 bit to 16 bit color. I'm interested to see how fast this kind of technology will advance.

Got mine today and will return it... this display technology may be the best eink color technology we have today, but man is it flawed. imo way too greyish and backlight dependant. black&white text does also not look good at all on this device as the color filter annoyingly distorts the letters print quality :/

You have completely ignored the "canvas size customization feature" and "landscape mode". I think those features are game changer, sure also recording on the page it's amazing, every professional note taking app have this function. It 's nice Onyx have bring it on the note app.

The chat balloons text in color mangas have the sharpness of 300PPI or 100PPI like the color part? (my exactly question is the display is smart to use the 100PPI only on the color parts of the screen).

I've been dreaming to get a color ereader for ages (to read non manga comics) but I need to have at least a good reading on the text.

The OS update gives you everything, except the colour obviously, on a nova 2. Also, the backlight is only "cold" on the nova 3 color and the grey background will mean more backlight use therefore less battery life.

No price, no screen resolution specs, no battery life numbers, no mention about pressure sensitivity. At least the lack of tilt was mentioned. Does color include support of more file formats? Storage capacity and options? Does it support Bluetooth and devices such as external keyboards or headphones? A little disappointing but thanks for sharing.

I have just received my Boox Nova 3 Color. When I attempt to open the Google Play App I get a message that says 'This device isn't Play Protect certified. Your device isn't certified to run Google apps or use Google services. Contact the device manufacturer or retailer and ask for a certified device.' My main reason for purchasing the Nova 3 Color was to use it for digital sketching. Is there some way of making the Nova 3 Color certified for Google apps?

How is battery life and ghosting when you use the Marvel Unlimited app?

I would love you to test other drawing apps for Android on these devices. Infinite painter, artflow, sketchbook, ibisPaint, etc.

For instance, there is tilt recognition in the device, as infinite painter recognised it, but the app lags crazy bad on my boox note plus. And I wish I could see some third party android note taking and drawing apps running on these newer product to see how much they improved.

Software updates have made things generally better on my device, but it’s aging and I think I’m on my last update now.

Could you please show warm light? You mentioned it but not showed it... warm light is maybe altering/lessening the vibrance of the colours, but at night I would not want a cold light...

At 2:17 you said this color e-readerbhas warm lighting. Are you sure? Because I looked in the specs and I can't find it.
