I heard Schneider say after last night's win that he looked across at the Bosox dugout and more or less inferred that he felt bad for their manager Alex Cora, in that with the Jays winning, Boston had been eliminated. I could understand his feelings for Danny Jansen, but come on man, having mixed feelings about eliminating Boston? He's too nice to be an MLB manager.

Although I appreciate Chapman's passion. I saw the recent Jomboy video where they showed Miami's manager saying he respected Ohtani too much to not pitch to him. I respected the decision to pitch to him.

John Schneider has made lots of questionable moves But he was also handcuffed by Ross Icky Atkins trading 2 good hitters in their prime Lourdes Guriel Jr and Teoscar Hernandez . Daulton Varsol Kiermaier an old Brandon Belt and Justin Turner were not good enough as hitters to lose 2 studs teo & guriel jr. This is why the Blue Jays suck plus not upgrading the bullpen enough. Ross Atkins should be fired by Rogers because Shapiro will not fire his friend it looks like

The fact that both Atkins and Schneider are still in their jobs is a big problem and a bad sign for Jays fans, even worse is Shapiro should have been removed for advocating to keep both of them. They don't draft or develop players well which either, this management group will never win a world series.

We need Gibbons! No im joking its not Schneiders fault we didn't have a chance before the season. Shortstops hurt all year and gain alot of weight, vladdy had a slow first half bust found it and has been carryingthe team on his back. The bullpen what was our strongest feature did terrible. Is it Schneider's fault he was saddled with a bad bullpen? No. But he still did poorly with what he was given. I'll never forget him blowing a sweep against the Yankees by bringing Swanson off the IL to close the game in the ninth. Idiot move that predictably cost the Jays the sweep.

Atkins gone period. Realize Shapiro loves him but bye. I like John would extend him but if a new GM is in place no chance. New GM will clean house. Beating on Ohtani was stupid. Need a new man.

Toronto Blow Jays will not do anything because Shapiro and Atkins made money. Management is happy because even with all the disappointment they still made money and it covered the cost of the remodel of the Rogers Centre. Blow Jays will try to sign both Bo and Vladdy, sign overpaid free agents and blame injuries not management why they struggled in 2024. Shapiro and Atkins can suck it and the overpriced team.
