Thank you for the wonderful series, I only have 1 complaint that there's an abundance of anti-patterns in this particular video, I'm assuming this is due to exhaustion since this was likely a long endeavor for you, but it's something to think about if you come back to this series. The code is not very DRY here, you copy paste (not a good place to be as a dev) the logic to check whether the string is prepended with something like '0x' twice! which tells that it would have been better as a function. I get that you want to make the code simple, and I'm not as deep into C as you are probably but nested conditionals is also a sign of poorly thought out logic : for example, in format_utils inside set padding spaces, you could have shown the viewer the expanded logic and then compressed it down into the 1 condition we are actually checking which is `format.is_negative || format.space || format.plus` Again thank you for the series.
