I remember playing a Biotechnica Corp on the tabletop, It was honestly extremely fun. I could be as shady or nice as I wanted to.

The fact that Biotechnica is "the least worst of the Corpos" is a scary idea digging into their history.
Of all the horrible acts done by Corps, Arasaka and Biotechnica are probably the last people you wanna deal with. Soul Killer and Red Orchid live rent free in my head when playing the game.

Just remember the golden rule there’s no good corporation in cyberpunk. Just different kinds of monsters with one end goal

It's cool to see the research Pondsmith put into his lore. CHOOH2, being a supposed grain produced fuel, is very reminiscent of Methanol, CH3OH, which itself is a simple alcohol fuel that can be produced from wood.

Remember finding the shard about the biotechnica break-in and about saving one pregnant woman I figured it was a Mad Max reference as there are a lot of movie Easter eggs and video game easter eggs in cyberpunk.

12:14 Definitely a Romulus and Remus reference, the two men who are said to have been raised by a she-wolf, and where Rome gets its name.

Choom, your quality is already top notch, every damn video from you is just preem.
You're by far the best source of videos about Cyberpunk around.

I am convinced Saburo Arasaka survives every ending of the game because of these guys. Obviously he survives if he gets chipped into his kid in The Devil, but for the others: The cloning tech was developed over 50 years before he died, before soul killer. The cloning tech was known about enough to be outlawed, and Arasaka had a tech deal with them so they could have gotten access. I think he wanted soul killer to "complete" the cloning project by transferring his perfect consciousness, and it evolved into the child plan. This man had an entire hospital dedicated to his health, and I guarantee you it wasn't just focused on giving him meds and chest scans. He had post death plans, and I am certain he had contingencies if he couldn't be chipped into his kid. In every other ending he's likely an engram in a clone of his own body trying to take back his company in an internal shadow war.

Considering that they probably had a hand in the extinction of many plants and animals, uprooting families who had to become Nomads in order to survive. The Red Orchid experiments. The painkillers that caused a degenerative neural disease and they are supposed to be the least bad option.

Cannonically, Biotechnica invented drop bears.

Thanks for telling Sasha's story.

Huh. I always thought metacorp and storm tech were the 'good' corps mainly because of their small size and nomad links ( metacorp is actually one of the seven nomad nations and storm tech has a symbiotic relationship with nomads that allow them to compete against the bigger companies. A relationship that started as a blood debt to malachi jode leader of the jode nation)

The truck with the dead women and a guy named Max is a direct reference to Madmax movie haha

The Charlize Fury shard is most likely a reference to Imperator Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road.

Crazy that a company that in the game started some insane gene splicing, human engineering, and chemical warfare is still the better company in Cyberpunk 2077

The corpo sended by sergei on the car is part of the nomad experiment as well if im not mistaken and he treats nomads as nothing than lab rats.
