I was in 8th grade when our school did a production of "The Passion of Christ". I was beyond HONOURED to play the role of Our Lord & Saviour for this play. I remember the end scene where I (Jesus) was crucified. They darkened the entire auditorium and placed a dim spotlight on me on the cross and I ended up balling my eyes out while trying to stay in character (dead!) just to hear this song combined with hundreds of sniffles and faint moans. I'll never forget it... Ever. ♥️
