Being an indigenous Assamese from Assam, I am both saddened to see the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh but at the same time I am too concerned for my place, my culture, demography and my traditions which we indigenous people are losing gradually because of huge Bangladeshi influx in 1971 and the continuous illegal immigration happening since then. Sorry to say but if Indian govt give them refuge, I know for sure that Bangladeshi will mostly choose Assam, West Bengal and Tripura to settle down.
