I have a SQL View in Synapse Dedicated, which accounts for 1.5 billion records. Is there a way to split this large table into Files derived from Column data? I used Data Flow and it turned out to be pretty slow running for around 3-4 hours. Also, the costing of data flow is expensive than other activities. Is there any other way to split data into files in Azure Synapse?
I also tried inserting the records of view into physical table and using physical table as data source, but to no avail the data flow took around 4-5 hours and failed stating memory issue.
