Probably the most important and beneficial tools that have aided me over the years when it comes to tone are my own ears! I'm no sound engineer though and I've still got LOTS to learn, so you'll have to forgive my recording/mixing skills, but I've done my best to give you an accurate as possible example of Dime's tone and how I usually would go about dialing it all in! I really hope you learn something from this video!

Well it's finally here, after countless hours of planning and editing(probably days actually). I really hope you all can get through my nervous monotone voice and numerous jump-cuts, this is my first video talking, and it felt WEIRD! It's also the first time I've edited a video of this magnitude! So apologies for my amatuerish editing skills.

If there's anything you would like to ask, and if you also have any ideas for future videos that you'd like to see me attempt, then definitely let me know and I'll try to do anything that I think I'm capable of!

30 "HEAVY FUCKIN YEARS" later and people still talk, chase and recreate Dimebags tone. This shows his amazing abilities and the effect he had on us all !!! Unreached period.

The fact that its over 30 years later and we still love this tone. I remember when I first listened to Pantera and distinctly loved the tone, didn't even know he was famous for it. Its just that good.

How the fuck does ANYBODY say they hate this tone. Its fucking marvelous!! Its up there with James hetfields Deizel setup for mw, just older metal crunch tone. Its definately DIMES tone, which no one will ever master because he used his fingers like no other. If anyone has mastered it though YOU have sir.

Domicidal Covers: You did a spot on job of getting both his tone and riffs down! This is probably the best cover I have ever seen of his songs. Keep up the good work mate!

Man, I follow you kind of more than 10 years, when you were a long hair handbanger guy playing that Dean ML with KISS decal. You got the BEST of Dime's tones and playing. Thank you for that.

You did a good job! Your talking was good it felt genuine and you weren’t trying to act like someone your not. For example trying to be funny when your not or acting like an idiot like so many people do. Nice job!
