Thank you for clarification on the shifting levers and what there functions are, I am a 63 year old man and my deceased father had a CJ2a and I always wondered what all the different levers on the floor did, so thank you again for clarifying!!!

Hi and thanks for the video. It's great to see a "legend" running and doing well. I have a 46 CJ2A that I was with my parents when they bought it. Still 6 Volts and has the "go devil" engine like yours. Looks like you did some great work! Again, thanks for the video and best of luck!

An absolute beautiful restoration . Enjoy . The transfer case should not be engaged in 4wd on hard pavement . The data plate on the dash clearly states it.

Do you have issues with mounting the tire and spare gas can on the tailgate?

Where can you find parts? I have a 48 as well, and I’m about to start doing a restoration on it.

Just bought a 71 says Willy on the title pulled over to a gas station and the gas nozzle wouldn't go far enough into the pipe and the gas kept on spitting back out. What's the fix? The gas tank input is driver side rear and seems to be to shallow. It's a four cylinder, and man I couldn't barely get that sucker to do forty anything over she started making a whiney/scream type of noise so I listened...

Wow, I love this thing. I just bought one with some friends, and we plan on doing work to it, needs some minor repair

So it's a 48 2a chasis and drivetrain and a mb body, correct?

This is not Willys MB... But it is a Willys GPW (Ford made). You can tell by the number of Grill Line. MB has 7 line Grill, and GPW has 9.

Restore it to what they are, not what they are not, just another want to be. It's not military so why make it military.
