It shows how much preasure Hanzo already must had in his youth because of his father, who wanted Hanzo to become the successor of the Shimada clan, so Hanzo had to train and deliver his best, to fulfill the expectations.
0:15 „I never asked my father his opinion of me“
Even after Hanzo gave up the Shimada empire and his fathers vision, he still cares about him and his opinion, even when he knows that he failed him and the Shimada clan.
Its so sad to see, how Hanzo (probably) sees himself as a failure because of all his mistakes and especially because of what he did to Genji.
Genji even forgave Hanzo a long time ago and yet Hanzo still blames himself for eveything and still struggles to forgive himself.

I love Doomfists's interactions, makes it seem like his men and women under him don't really shares the same perspectives as him, and his interaction with Hanzo tells he's not a one dimensional villain, he wants people to become stronger, through conflict, noble goals, but very dubious and villainous means.

Genji and hanzo have my favorite reactions because im the older brother of one sibling. I always wonder whether i was a good brother growing up. I felt like i was the worst live with guilt 24/7 but i did all i could to take care of him when we were younger. I always told him to grow up to be better than me. Our lives went 2 seperate ways but even now i wish i could hug him and tell him that im proud of him, that he has grown into a better man than me.
