Interesting. I would have personally mentioned the pricing in the video as that's a bugbear of mine when pricing isn't mentioned in reviews. Whilst it appears to be a bit more simple to use than premiere pro and resolve do you think it it's really worth paying those prices when you can get resolve for free with so many great features ready to go or premiere pro at a similar price to pro?

At the end of the day I think all editing softwares are pretty simple if you're editing basic phone footage with the sound already synced. Timeline editing doesn't really take that long to learn and all you have to do is cut out the bits where you ramble, make mistakes or say "erm".

So to me it seems like the free version of capcut is a good start to beginners where its stripped back but then I think they should actually then move over to resolve when they understand the basics of timeline editing because that's all you need to know the majority of the time to film a simple video and cut it down a bit... and its FREE!

At the end of the day your message is king and understanding what your audience needs. The fancy stuff on top is optional.

I used the free version where I couldn't use "Auto background removal", I changed to pro to be able to use this function, now everything has changed. The page you explain from "Time line editor" has disappeard and I can not find it. Could you tell me how can I get back to the basic, to the very "Time line editer" that you use to explain pro featurs?

I paid around $79 for the annual Pro subscription because it was worth it. Then my renewal came up as TikTok was about to shutdown, so naturally I decided not to renew. Now that it’s back the Pro annual subscription price is $179.99! $100 more? The fuck? I love CapCut but not for that price. 😂
