I still have my quarter collection hanging on my wall. My grandma got them for all us grandkids in elementary school, it was a huge deal to her and we all made it a big thing when we got another quarter. Even going to the banks to try to get the newest one that came out lol when she died I still had 5 to go and couldn't bring myself to finish it :( one day years later my boyfriend brought me all 5 quarters and said now finish it for her. I cried and cried as I put the quarters in.

I started collecting stamps during quarantine. Some of them are very artistic. They usually include a quick history on why it was designed that month. I don’t trade or anything. I just like the look of certain ones when they come out. Like art.

My russian bf has a coin collection from his grandfather I believe, it has coins from around the world. I've given him my peso to just have as a addition to it

Arguably, all hobbies (besides youtuber, internet celebrity/influencer, or streamer). So many kids growing up without real interests besides entertainment.

I still have my quarters in the little holder map thing haha. But my favorite thing to collect when I was a kid was pins. I have a few hats that are just heavy and covered in pins from all over the USA and Canada

Two things I noticed too: less people are slinging due to the fact that there is no need to use a primitive weapon.
The other one is playing the Jews harp. Amazing instrument but lo and behold, no one is playing it

I collect one of a kind handmade or hand painted dolls. Custom dolls are adorable and I have 3 though one is for my cousin to have as she loves dolls so I only have 2 one of a kind dolls in my collection.

There's one I'm working on customizing which will add to my collection so I'd technically have 3 when I give my cousin her doll.

It's a dying hobby especially when the ones I really collect are sewn, crocheted, or even knitted.

I also collect Pomeranian related stuff which isn't that common to see.

I had a dog who passed away due to old age that was a Pomeranian and after he died I started collecting Pomeranian related stuff.

Also I collect coins from around the world mostly U.S. as it's where I live. I like to collect wheat pennies the most and just wheat penny collecting is a dying hobby.

Though my biggest collection is My Little Pony and collecting it isn't a dying hobby.

Model planes. Like the ones that came in boxes years ago that you had to cut the plastic out of sheets and glue together? I feel like 3d printing is catching the interest of the types of personalities of who would have been into those.

My husband's Grampa actually got all his grandkids, grandkids spouses, and his one great grand baby the plaque and didn't give it to us until he collected all 50 quarters for each one. Altogether it took him a year and a half to fill all 7 plaques up .

The mint coin hobby as mentioned in the video. I was given a set by my Great Grandmother. I believe that it was a full set. I just need to find it

I remember my cousins abd I collecting coins to put in my grandma's coin book, when we collected all of them we had a celebration. However, I believe some of them were stolen but a deadbeat cousin.

I think sticker collecting is the evolution of stamp collecting as stamps aren't used that much

No cap, I want ham radio to come back. Not because it's my hobby or anything but because it's one of the most important parts of disaster relief in remote areas. It can literally mean rescue or death to many people when a hurricane hits. Trust me, I was brought up in the mountains in Puerto Rico, and after Hurricane Maria in 2017, local ham radio operators were able to confirm that my parents and friends were alive even though they were cut off for almost a week.
