I cry because when my faith in humanity is destroyed as it is by Trump and those folks who blindly follow his privileged bitterness and hatred, I am reminded that there are others in the World who are good people. And it is good people who will bring the world around, if it can ever be brought around. I don't feel this so much for myself. I feel this for those who I value and I feel this for my kids and my grand-kids. My time is almost done. Theirs is beginning and they deserve what good people can deliver.

Don’t forget - AOC was a bartender in college.

….Which meant she had to learn to think on her feet, work under stressful situations, and mediate conflicts between disagreeable people you wouldn’t choose to associate with, and for middling reward. I hope AOC is our first bartender president and we have a few more bartender senators and congresspeople to keep her company.
