Poetic Movement, Root by Fia and Himlakropp #shorts

Usually, I find a nice secluded place to dance. But not this time. This was a very open setting and a man in a car had just parked across the street. I saw him watching, but I was already in flow. Being watched can bring you out of embodiment, (which is why ecstatic dances don’t allow the use of cameras during sets.) But instead of waiting for him to leave, I took the opportunity to push beyond my boundaries.. staying centered and in flow throughout the rest of the dance.

When I was done, the man walked across the street and approached me with a business opportunity based off of what he’d seen.

And isn’t life just like that? A glowing reminder that sometimes, moving beyond your comfort zone is exactly what you need to invite new opportunity’s. Remembering that you are safe in your body. And the Earth is always here to support you through your process of being seen, heard and felt…….so press onward. You never know what may come from it.
