Fractional Distillation Animation (Blender+FlipFluids)

Blender animation showing fractional distillation of a mixed liquid using a Fractionating column and Liebig condenser. Due to the different boiling points of the separate components, selective evaporation can be used to separate the liquids. Glass beads in the Fractionating column provide a large surface area for vapors to condense and drip down to a lower level to be vaporized and distilled multiple times. Vapor passes through the inner core of the condenser , where cold water circulating in the outer jacket cools the gas condensing it back into a liquid, and drips down to be collected in the conical flask.
