As players and fans inch closer to Dead by Daylight’s 5th Anniversary in 2021, the game will continue to look and feel better than ever with new content drops released with our regularly scheduled updates.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As a Survivor, your goal is to escape and avoid being caught and killed.

The more these maps get updated, the more I’m gonna miss these old maps. The new maps look great and I love the aesthetic each one has, but the old ones just have style to DBD that’s going to be gone by the time all the maps get reworked.

Either way, I’m excited to see the changes coming to other maps.

Everyone saying the game is now too dark clearly isn’t familiar with the horror genre. Dark environments allow for the creation of a tense, suspenseful atmosphere. Hence, their choice to mildly darken it. Just put on your big boy pants and get with it. Also, the internet needs to be less harsh about their “constructive” criticism(don’t come at me w the lame ‘is a joke’ excuse). Even if they appear to be mere graphic updates, these take a HUGE effort and a LOT of time, so please be respectful. With that being said, keep up the awesome work Devs! I really enjoy this game :)
