Here in France, businesses are obliged to accept cash. It is illegal to refuse it. It is simply impossible to turn down cash here. "Don't Kill Cash" should be more strident and insist it is written into law that, to refuse cash, is illegal.

In Australia most of the power supplied above the ground, power cuts are a way of life and with wind and solar, many stores close during cuts, Cash is a great back up.
