Greece has had a weak - struggling economy for years, & still manages to outperform the “all mighty USA” with their COVID protocols. As an American with a Greek mother whose traveled there frequently, I’ve noticed the Greek people value life, family & friends far more than capitalism . Life takes a slower pace there and it’s always a grounding experience to visit.
