Madam, you said you "too old"... you don't know what is like for someone to spend the rest of his/her life in prison. Believe me, it's much, much harder than dying. If the murderer were to put to death he/she will not suffer or feel the pain. Taking the freedom away from a person for the rest of their lives, they will look for ways to end their lives in prison because their minds are being tortured.
