if you want your denim to last. wash at least once every 2 months. denim looks good as it ages even if the denim looks uniform which wont be the case anyway.

I had 501 Levi's for years without washing and they still look brand new, now if I was them one time they look like I had them for 30 years. If you're clean and take care of yourself and your clothes u dont need to wash ur jeans

Those washed jeans start to fade immediately then fall apart. My jeans even after years look like the jeans in the middle.

I just wear less. If they are dirty I was them. If you don’t they start to fall apart really fast. Had jeans start to get holes especially in the stitching around the pockets

I wash as needed myself once a year with cold water no soap and it is more like soaking for a minute 😂😂😂

I get mine to the dry cleans every 2 years. I basically store them in a freezer.

Not washing jeans is a total meme of an idea made up by people who don't live in the real world. I'm sure it's very nice living a life of idleness where you don't actually need to wash anything you wear, but most people actually still have working and living to do and you can be sure by the end of the week you have a simple choice, either be clean and wash your jeans or stink worse than a toilet for the sake of "preserving" them.

Yes but how were they washed? I hand wash mine inside out or on a cool to body temperature cycle with detergent, and hang them to dry and they last me YEARS, looking almost new.

The problem with not washing, is your skin oils, absorb into the fabric which attracts dirt. Even if they don't look or smell dirty, they are in fact GROSS. Please do not sit in my car or on my furniture, I know who you are, I know that oily sheen anywhere.

No offence but if you don't have selvedge or some special denim then wash it regularly you can buy them again otherwise wash them mindfully
