This demo shows how Nokia 1830 PSS packet-optical transport systems can support different applications having different QoS requirements over a shared network using transport network slices with both hard and soft traffic isolation to maximize application performance and transport network resources. It also shows highly accurate synchronization performance for frequency and time/phase by contrasting the performance of the 1830 PSS against metrics stipulated in the standards.
