In the video he says the trousers (or jeans as he calls them) are also AA rated. They aren't. RST's own website shows them as only A rated.

I have the older RST adventure kit with 153, 000kms on it with about 50k off road to include weekly trails in well over 25C Spain, France and annually in Morocco since purchase. Ventilation is great in the majority of summer riding that I ride and as expected the black turned grey with the uv light over a period of 13 years. The chest opening pocket design is noticed at once when good when used with all the zips opened.

Things that zapped after a couple of years was some of the popper buttons came away and the velcro pant closing velcro wore thin and would not grip and hold closed. The fly zip also didn't hold up too long....maybe a more chunky zip? IMO a plastic clip buckle idea would wear better, on the pants like the KTM Terra closure system. If it snaps or breaks a camping shop can supply another. The rear jacket pocket works to stash a one piece over suit tightly rolled if caught out in a shower.

The pants can fit over Sid Crossfire MX boots with a wriggle and are just a bit tight. The zip metal puller broke off on both due to pulling down against the tight boots. Maybe put a more chunky zip there too or cut the pants wider to allow for MX boots? There's more riders wearing this type of boot on adventure bikes than shoes!. A couple of cms is all it would take.

In summary, a good value bit of kit and with excellent ventilation. I will purchase again and note that the pant closure straps are wider now which would allow new velcro to be sewn on if need be.

Have the jacket, but had to send the jeans back as they don't fit over MX boots (Alpinestar Tech 3's) That's crazy, and must be a problem many others have.

would like to see the inner linings in the pants, how are they removable and is the thermal lining seperate from the waterproof lining or are they one? If i want to remove the thermal lining can i keep the waterproof lining? and how does it all look on the inside, i could not find any pictures or info online.

Have this whole suit in the featured "Silver" colourway myself, it's a really great set, honestly.. It's comfortable, with the vents all open and the liner out it's just about comfortable even in the 20+ c 80% humidity days we're having at the moment (more on that later), extremely well equipped with the full level 2 D30 material pads.. Liner in it kept me lovely and comfortable all throughout the winter in wales, dry as well, genuinely cannot fault this for the price, and i actually love that removable rear bag so you can use it as a bumbag, store your wallet and phone in it whilst out and about away from your gear.

Just purchased myself the new Ventilator XT jacket as now we're hitting 25c+ with such high humidity, the vents on the adventure-x without the liner are no longer enough airflow for me, hopefully i'll be able to zip the Ventilator jacket to my adventure-x trousers though, we'll see!

I'm sorry, I've bought the adventure X model Pro series last year, in this colour and though I really rate the suit and put mine through the ringer;
The new Model looks the exact same 🤣🤣

These trousers do not fit over Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro boots..not even close sadly. My Fox boots are even bigger..so no go with those either.
