French Beauty: French Brands

In my continuing series on French Beauty, today I use only French brands and they are magnifique! Learn to look polished and lovely with less products, I only use 7-8 products total! All products are paid by me and ones that I really love and am constantly impressed by. The lipstick blows my mind!!!!

This is my typical makeup look. I am 62 with blond hair and green eyes. I bought the brown mascara after watching your video. Searched for years for a brown that works. Excited to try it. I bought the Amour Fou balm and it’s my new favorite. I immediately bought a second color. Nothing like it.

I've been living in France for 10 years, therefore most of the products I use are from French brands. For makeup:
Guerlain foundation - L'essentiel with 96% natural ingredients
Powder : lose powder from Guerlain
Highlighting powder - Météorites from Guerlain
Blush from Chanel
Bronzer - Terracotta from Guerlain (not the mat one but the original)
Lip liner from Guerlain - it is not matte but has some silky luminosity which is beautiful
Lipsticks and glosses from Chanel, Givenchy, Dior
Mascara - Diorshow from Dior and the Volume 5x from L'oreal (I don't use false lashes)
Concealer from Lancome - Teint idole All over concealer, Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat full coverage concealer, Estée Lauder Radiant concealer (I know she's not French, but has Hungarian origins - I'm Hungarian btw)
For eyeshadow I use definitely YSL and Tom Ford.

For skincare the best French brand I consider really good quality is Biotherm, Sisley and Guerlain.

I have dehydrated skin and makeup dries out my skin if I don't use the good products. This is why I gave you the brands I use.

Concerning French women, they don't really have much makeup, but they invest a lot in skincare. The few makeup products they use are high end though (not L'Oréal, that's not really considered as good quality).
Very few foundation or rather BB cream, mascara, blush but mostly Terracotta from Guerlain, a mascara, and a glossy red lipstick. And a very original perfume. 😊
American women use of makeup. I am between the USA and French women, a little bit of everything but in small quantity. I use makeup to correct and beautify, definitely not im order to change their face. I also like to recognize myself in the mirror 😁.

Thank you for tutorial ! I think you should try to change the camera settings, because the cheeks are exagerate, look artificial ... too much blush, or wrong camera settings. I realized that in last 3 tutorials.

I’ve been using Typology for years, it’s my absolute favorite. I do find the color selection pretty poor as well, BUT I literally just use the tinted serum though my t-zone, and within my cheek area to help blur my spots…works perfectly, rather than using all over my face when then does not look like the right color. Doing it like this, my face and neck look just fine. I use typology in conjunction with my Seint/Demi for a flawless French look, that gets TONS of compliments on my skin!! Have a great day
