Πάρκο Παύλιανης - Pavliani Park, Fthiotidos Greece 2022

This is a popular (natural) park in Pavliani, about 2.5 hours away from Athens. 40 minute drive from Lamia. It's a lush green forest in the hills of Mount Oeta that is full of surprises along its trail. Great place to visit for the kids to indulge and explore.

The various themes and artwork scattered throughout the park are the works of volunteers who live in the nearby villages. The park includes a musical suspension bridge, gymnasium, hammocks, giant swings, ball games or just relax on the wooden deckchairs next to the natural pool, perfect for a foot-bath or swimming in the summer months.

At the top of the hill you will find the Iron Throne, a replica from the movie Game of Thrones.

To complete the whole course, you will need a good level of stamina. It's a very long walk, alternatively, you could just settle to explore part of the trail and still have an amazing time with the kids. A great little cafe is open to enjoy a snack or coffee under the maple, walnut and chestnut trees.
