Pene Pati sings 'Una furtiva lagrima' from Donizetti's L’Elisir d’amore

The recording matches favorite tenor showpieces with rarer gems by Verdi, Rossini, Donizetti, Meyerbeer, Gounod, and Benjamin Godard. It was in Bordeaux in 2019, and in Donizetti’s Anna Bolena, that Pene Pati – who grew up in New Zealand – made his European debut. A singer of glowing lyricism, he establishes an immediate rapport with his audience and has risen swiftly up the world’s tenor ranks.

I saw him as Nemorino tonight at the S F Opera and could not believe my luck in seeing him in this role! He's just fantastic in so many ways. Exquisite voice, amazing actor, and funny conedien!.
