this is just my personal preference, but I reckon breaking the traditions of weddings is the new era of weddings!

A wedding is just a party which is specifically marking a marriage - it's a marriage party. The marriage is the actual important part. So, you get to decide what you do at the party. I haven't ever been to a uber-traditional wedding, because I'm not religious and neither are any of my friends - so all their weddings were something along these lines. Some had jazz-bands, some had a "quiet room" for guests to hide from overwhelm, some had a fire-dancer, some had scottish country dancing, some had a tea-ceremony, some had a nerf-gun fight, some had traditional drinking songs, some had a surprise love song performance, some had tents to camp in in the forest, some had a piper, some had no "first dance" or "giving aways", some had "mother of the bride speeches", some had dogs as ringbearers, some had olive oil as a party favour... - I digress, but IT'S A PARTY. So you do what YOU want for the party, and concentrate on the MUCH MORE IMPORTANT PART which is the marriage itself.
I think a lot of people end up divorced because they confuse the two.

The wedding looked beautiful. South of France, quaint little huts, close family and friends, swimming in the morning with jamming in the night- just wow.

Oh btw, wait till you hear that some people take out huge loans for the wedding that they keep paying back years after.

The wedding looked absolutely beautiful! Big congratulations to the newly weds.
Me and my Husband had the traditional wedding, which personally I loved! It was a real princess day. My brother did a speech, my Dad or my Husband didn’t. We didn’t pressure people either.
I had a bridesmaid and two men of honours ❤
Our photographer was totally chilled and funny, great with kids! And also let every guest get a picture with their family, just beautiful. Ps - it cost an arm and a leg for my dad LOL xx
