How to Ponytail Redirect DdRT

How to set up a ponytail redirect (a.k.a. flag poling).
A ponytail redirect means that you leave the tail of your rope close to the trunk while you use natural redirects to get out to a certain area of the tree and then instead of having to climb back up over those natural redirects then you can use the tail of your rope close to the trunk to lift your system back to you.

Instead of taking a big bite, just pull one side of the rope that is over the crotch. You can elevate it above a tight crotch and then pull the tail. Comes through with 0 snags.

That's good but an important step is, prior to pulling the system back thru the crotch and back down to you .. you should pull your system up and above the crotch so it passes thru easily and no chance of getting stuck in the crotch
