I would have to respectfully disagree with you Eddie. Once I heard this song, and it was not on a "mainstream" radio station by any stretch (They play the "hits" from Caspian, Explosions in the Sky, TWIABPAIANATD, Guided By Voices, Eliza Rickman etc.) I went out to my local record store to buy the album, only to find they sold out of every vinyl copy.I had to pay extra to have it shipped to me.
I also loved "Dream The Dare." Had to special order my copy of "Moon Tides" a few years ago. I really want to see them live.

I agree that thia is quite a departure from the live version. Hopefully they will include both versions on the album or on a deluxe version. Sounds like a very top 40/ radio friendly song, but i see no reason their more classic sound couldnt also be considered since they are often labeled indie/dream pop and there sems to be a resurgance in that sound. This song is definitely more electo-pop, almost a slight kelly clarkston or katy perry type sound. Its good for bands to evolve but still keep their core sound. Maybe they will have other, dreamier songs on the album.

I know this has been out for a long time
I was watching Izzy gets the f... across town and this is one of the songs in the movie
It is amazing but you think this version is good try the live one
Truly a great voice for lead singer sounds better

It's okay. But they've now moved from the sound of 1986 to something more like that of 1988 or '89, for those who can remember such hairsplitting. I like the earlier style.

Definitely my least favorite of theirs. Way too mainstream sounding for them. If they found success with this, kudos, but from a fan of their older stuff this just isn't them at all.
