Ageing F singer from UK, please, please, please do ‘Streets of Laredo’ it would make me sooo happy, and you would make it ‘new’. My father is dead now but it was his favourite Cowboy song. He bought me my first guitar when I was 12 and gave me my first taste of US music. He also paid for me to have classical singing lessons, I would’ve traded them for fiddle lessons. My singing teacher would see me and others with guitars singing and harmonising folk stuff, she wasn’t impressed, but we managed to get Trophies for the School!
