I am a hospice nurse- I use the pool noodles for the hospital beds.... I put them under the sheets to keep my patients from rolling off the bed & I cut them down the center & cut them appropriately and line the metal railings so patients don't bang their arms / legs or get their extremities stuck. Works amazing & so much cheaper than alternatives! 💜

Also trampoline spring covers, water line insulation, baby bumpers on furniture, and if you live on a farm when grabbing the hay bales slipping a sliced pool noodle under the wire makes a grip guard so it doesn’t pinch fingers as much when the kids are helping hay the animals.

Great Video! I'm going to use them with some concrete yard art projects. Super good as a filler or "armature, " for sculpting, lightweight and your end project won't take a forklift to move. Thanks for producing this video and reminding me about these versatile, incredible pool noodles!

Another great pool noodle use is when you are packing up your tall boots for the season, to keep them upright and crease free us a cutdown pool noodle in each one. Works great

With 50 bucks I made a MASSIVE king sized linen headboard. The exact same one was selling for 2k in a local boutique. My husband thought I was nuts... now he brags about it. I found a free square kindergarten table for free in my area. I took the legs off, used spray adhesive, batting a stapple gun, and a lovely piece of furniture grade linen fabric. The square cut-out is perfect for accessing the power outlet to plug in and hide lamp cords.
I also used pool noodles between studs in a bathroom remodel ... then I used spray foam to lock in place before sheet rock... now my bathroom is the quietest sanctuary in my home.

I'm moving!!! I've been trying to figure out how to safely and inexpensively pack things. POOL NOODLES!!! I can't believe I didn't think of that. You're a genius. Please pray for us. We may be buying a house. I'll be doing tons of DIYs if so. Definitely that topiary. 💖💖💖

LOVE your topiary idea - wish I could adapt it with something like ie. plastic boxwood. For us way up North & want to leave it out through the winter and tons of snow, the moss wouldn’t work unfortunately. Would love ideas on that please and thank you.

My front door and back door are straight across the house from each other. These last couple of weeks in College Station have been really great, weather-wise, and I've been trying to find a way to keep the doors slightly cracked to air out the house with fresh air. Your pool noodle door lip trick is just what I need! Thank you!

I have metal patio chairs and used pool noodles to cover the arm rests so you don't get burned on really hot days. Just cut to size and split it down the middle and it fits over the arm rest. Some I had to tape down due to the shape of the arm rest.
