U should read about the Nuggets draft highway robbery with the help of Misko Raznatovic who is Jokices agent. Nuggets FO knew he would be a great player but asked Misko to put Jokic in the draft early so they could stash him. That year he stayed in Europe after being drafted, he was ABA league MVP which would bump him to the the first round for sure in the next years draft if he declared later. It was basically one of the greatest wink/wink deals of all time

I was thinking a Jokic comparison but I prefer Keita Bates Diop

Jokic is a nice comparison but I would also look at Sabonis (both of them really). He plays close to the basket a lot, not a great distance shooter from what we seen but is a good scorer and a big body to handle on both ends, and a top distributor that just plays a lot of smart basketball.
