As a cell phone repair technician. No amount of rice can save a water damage phone. It matters of how long the phone was in water and if the phone was still on while water was in it. The best thing to do is to go take it to a place to dry it out first before turning it on again. That will greatly increase the chances of your phone from working.

I used to be an IT tech and you would be surprised how often people will look a train technician in the eye and say "no, that's not the problem."

I've noticed it's almost exclusively when they are at fault rather (ie spelling, coffee or opening a sketchy attachment that installs ransomware)🤦🏾‍♂️

To fix a phone, a mere childrens toy, what you have to do is put it into a bowl of long grain basmati for 24 hours, then season it with salt, cumin and a pinch of saffron.

And this is why I don't miss retail and selling phones. I remember a guy threaten to choke me (which he would've gotten a well whopped ass) because he wanted me to tell him HIS email password because he couldn't remember it when he was setting up his phone. SMH
