Lidar profiling of atmospheric aerosol and cloud layers has become important for climate research during recent decades.
EARLINET NOA-PollyXT lidar is a portable, remotely controlled, multiwavelength Raman polarization lidar system with eXTended capabilities developed at TROPOS Institute (Althausen et al., 2009; Engelmann et al., 2016).
It is located at the PANGEA Observatory on the island of Antikythera, Greece (35.86 Ν, 23.81 Ε, elevation: 110 m a.s.l.).
