How to Install Levitate Revamped (for Beginners)

Показать описание
Hopefully this video covers the installation process in a way that everyone can understand. Here are the links and a written guide:
New Animation for Magic Casting:
Pretty Combat Animations:
Pretty Staff And Magic Cast Animations:
XP32 Skeleton:
Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS:
Mod Organizer:
Here are Step by step instructions:
First get the XP32 skeleton and FNIS, install both, now you're ready to begin.
Step 1: get the levitate mod
Step 2: get the new animations for magic casting by xp32
Step 3: get the pretty combat animations required for pretty staff and magic cast animations
Step 4: get the pretty staff and magic cast animations (do NOT install yet)
Step 5: Install levitate mod
Step 6: Install pretty combat animations (lowest priority in the load order, not as important as the next mod)
Step 7: Install new animations for magic casting by xp32
Step 8: Begin a MANUAL install of Pretty Staff and Magic Cast animations, and uncheck EVERYTHING. Now expand the file tree under pretty cast and check ONLY these: (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!)
Then right click on 'Pretty Cast' in the file tree and select that as the Data directory, then click OK
(This mod is high priority in the load order! More important than all the other mods here)
(at this point make SURE all of these mods are installed and checked BEFORE running FNIS)
Step 9: Run FNIS, check any box that applies to you, click generate FNIS actions,
Step 10: Right click on overwrite message in the mod list, and select 'create new mod'. Name it something like FNIS animations and go ahead and create this custom mod out of the stuff from the overwrite which should just be stuff that FNIS generated in the previous step. Now check this custom mod you just created.
Done, run the game and enjoy the hover animations! If it still doesn't work it is likely one of these:
1) You didn't follow the instructions 100% correctly *(most common mistake)
*Something in pretty staff and magic cast animations was checked that was not supposed to be checked or something that was supposed to be checked was not checked. Uninstall pretty staff and magic cast animations and reinstall manually following Step 8. This time be careful to follow Step 8 correctly.
2) There is a priority issue in your load order, another animation is taking priority over the hovering effect. Simply double click on the pretty staff and magic animations and see what is overwriting it, look for anything not listed here.
3) You have a FNIS related issue that should be easy to resolve by simply unchecking anything that was ever created out of overwrite files before and running FNIS again and creating a mod out of the overwrite files and selecting just this one now. Be sure it's checked.
4) Remember when installing any mods with MO, that you should always see the green 'Looks Good' message, if you see the red message - then you have not chosen a good Data directory and your mod won't be properly installed. This is covered in the video.
