My grandma lifted one weight and now she's my dad.

The people who say this have no idea how hard it is to put on muscle. 💀

As a woman with 20 years of gym experience I can’t believe there’s anyone that still thinks that’ll happen

Mike's straight face during the first part of this threw me for a loop and then he kept going and my brain was like "Oh he's being facetious." 😂

My grandmother made a commitment to get in shape later in life. At the age of 70, she started walking five miles a day. Now she's 93, and we have no clue where she is.

My wife accidentally picked up one of my weights to move them around.
She is now just a single massive bicep.

I love his sarcasm. I've watched him enough to know his stories and man, I'm here for them.

My grandma has been weight training for most of her life. The muscle she had built up, recently saved her life.

My mom does light power lifting and trains in the gym and it’s genuinely impressive for a near 50 year old woman, she has better muscle definition than I think I’ll ever have!

Weight training is also SO important for maintaining bone density as we age - especially for women

I was a female bodybuilder in the 80's. You know, when anorexia was the measure of feminine beauty. A LOT of people did not like it, and told me about it. However, I am now in my 60's and quite healthy. I tell younger women that every bit of muscle they can put on before menopause is like money in the bank.

I remember working at the gym when there was a woman who kept asking for workout programs. However, she would complain that she didn't want a particular program because she was afraid of becoming a bodybuilder. After listening to her for over an hour, I looked her in the eye and said, "You don’t need to worry about that; you lack the dedication and drive to ever become one."

My late mom was a phys-ed teacher and was part of a ladies' work-out group for faculty. They called themselves "ladies in weighting."

I would go to a community college library to rent a book, but what if I accidentally leave with a masters degree! 😫
