Armored vehicles and soldiers have withdrawn from outside Bolivia's presidential plaza following what appears to be a failed coup attempt Wednesday. Eduardo Gamarra, professor of politics and international relations at Florida International University, joins CBS News to discuss.

I heard differently, the General made some remarks about the former President Evo Morales, saying that he (the General) would not accept Evo Morales as President in the next elections.
Because of that, I heard that the General was relieved from duty.

This coup was undermined by a disgruntled guy who was fired the day before because of his ego. The people of Bolivia, Venezuela, and Cuba have an education in civics. So, any right-wing coup will fail and potentially lead to civil war. The current president of Bolivia appointed people from the opposition party that did the last coup. Evo morales may control the party, but he has distanced himself from the president.
