Fall is a busy time for all farmers but for brothers Greg and Zach Rose of Clear Meadows Farms it’s on a bigger scale. A big rig convoy is called in to keep the corn and soybean harvest up to speed.

As dawn rises over the massive Clear Meadows farm employees begin to arrive, trucks are gassed up and brothers Greg and Zach Rose head out for another day of corn and soy harvesting. Started in 1943 with 100 head of cattle and a few acres, Clear Meadows has become a massive operation with over 600 all natural beef cattle and thousands of acres of corn, soybeans, wheat, sorghum and popcorn across Baltimore and Harford counties. Today, they are spread thin, while Greg is harvesting corn on a field forty minutes from home, Zach is handling mechanical issues that continue to pop up like gophers. They have little to fear however, they have trust in each other and a deep family in farming to support them.
