The lane tracking system turns on automatically in the new HRV 2023. I have to turn it off every time I drive. Is there a place where I can close it permanently? Could you give information.

Outrageous system, who in their right mind that this was a good idea?
You are in control of whatever vehicle you are operating, you are responsible.
People are not mindless animals that need this type of control.

the fact that this cannot be permanently disabled and defaults to on every time you start the car is downright dangerous. if you have to quickly steer towards the opposite lane to avoid an obstacle and you dont have time to signal, the car will steer you right back into the obstacle. having to push 3 buttons to disable this every time you start the car is outrageous.

Honda should rename it to Lane departure assist system to avoid confusion.

this feature is dangerous, have had my honda pilot for 1 day and this system got confused going through a construction zone, trying to turn when i needed to go straight due to lane shifting. had to fight it to not cause any accident. i'm trying to find a way to permanently disable this smart dumb feature.

Please note that the car speed must be at least 72 km/h but no more than 145 km/h.

I just bought a 24 Ridgeline. RDM is awful. It jerks when the lines are not easy to see, it pulls me onto a ramp, because it follows the It is completely useless.
