Ok so there is this reoccurring misconception everyone seems to be having about the theory of Palpatine is Anakin's father being true. I want to lay this out frankly as I am tired of addressing it. First of all, the prophecy of the chosen one, which ultimately led to Anakin's birth largely predates Palpatine's existence. Yes, Palpatine had heard and studied the prophecy and tried to manipulate Anakin, but he had no part in its creation nor Anakin's conception. This is why. The prophecy itself states, "A Chosen One shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the Force be restored." Meaning, the chosen one will be created purely from the force, and with no natural father. hence, it was created by the fates. The Star Wars God's of the force. Palpatine tells Anakin about the story of Darth plagueis the wise in an attempt to contort his mind and manipulate him into falling to the dark side, and ultimately under his control. Making Anakin think only the dark side could help him save Padmés life. This story however revolves around bringing someone back to life, not creating life itself through the force. Both of which Palpatine CAN NOT do. The theory a lot of you are mentioning stems from the comic Panel of Palpatine manipulating the dark side into Shmi Skywalkers womb, but this panel itself was addressed by LUCASFILM that it had been highly misinterpreted, and was not saying in any way that Palpatine was Anakin's father, nor is it canon in Star wars. Lucasfilm has clarified that the panel depicting Palpatine seemingly manipulating Shmi Skywalker's womb was not intended to imply that Palpatine was Anakin's biological father.
Members of the Lucasfilm Story Group, including Matt Martin who worked on the comic, have stated definitively that this was not the intended implication. They explained that the sequence was part of Anakin's Force vision, a manifestation of his fears and Palpatine's manipulation, rather than a literal depiction of events. The Dark Side, they stressed, is not a reliable narrator.
The long-standing canon explanation for Anakin's birth is that he was conceived by the will of the Force itself, as a "virgin birth." While the idea of Palpatine (or Darth Plagueis) influencing midichlorians to create life was a concept explored, and even almost included in earlier drafts of the films, it was ultimately decided that Anakin's birth was a result of the Force's own doing, often interpreted as a counter-balance to the Sith's dark side experiments.
So, despite the visual suggestion in that specific comic panel, Lucasfilm's official stance is that Palpatine is not Anakin Skywalker's father.

Palpatine cannot bring someone back to life, what makes you think he can create it?
