Widows his wife and leaves his kids without a father because he couldnt live without being big. Still had to keep training like a intense madman. And still kept up with the extreme BB lifestyle to a degree. Not saying that he was hitting hard cycles still after his heart attack...but it is clear from recent pics and training videos, that the man was still pushing his body too hard. It is a mental illness and addiction. The only guy who did the right thing was Tom Prince....after his kidneys failed. At least Prince quit the entire routine of madness. Still on dialysis....but still alive for his family. Meadows was a good guy. RIP

We lost a bodybuilding icon, a mentor and one hell of a gentlemen. The entire bodybuilding community should have a moment of silence to pay tribute to a man who gave so much back to the sport he so much loved. He was / still is the face of bodybuilding to me. The Meadows row will live on forever. Rest in Paradise JM you will be sorely missed !

JM was killed by a PULMONARY EMBOLISM, a blood clot in the lungs. His heart attack before was caused by blood clots, his arteries were clean. And he lost his colon in 2005 from, you guessed it, blood clots. BLOOD CLOTS KILLED THIS POOR MAN.
