Adorable. We visited Skiathos in 2001 ( the week 9/11 happened) and were concerned for an emaciated donkey turned loose and left to roam. The lady from the dog sanctuary took him in and named him “Doughnut”. Sadly some time in the winter he escaped and was found dead on The beach. This must be the same lady as I can’t recall her name. What a wonderful person to do this for cats.

Omg Philip this one has just had me in floods of tears. Such sadness but I'm absolutely delighted that you got the kittens to Sharon and are adopting Harriet. I really really hope someone can find it in their heart to adopt Moo and some of the other cats. I just wish you had found Gingernuts. I doubt I'll be able to sleep now after watching this. The ending actually made me cry a little! I'm so excited for Harriet's future! I've been thinking about going to volunteer on Skiathos for a while now, I think I'll have to actually stop procrastinating and do it!
