Electrophilic Substitution - Friedel Crafts Acylation|A Level Chemistry Past Paper Question Walkthrough (AQA) Aromatic Chemistry.

In this video, I break down and answer an electrophilic substitution mechanism (Aromatic Chemistry 3.3.10) question from an AQA A-Level Chemistry past paper. This mechanism is Friedel Crafts Acylation. I had to show the equation for the formation of the electrophile and then carry out the organic mechanism. Although this is for AQA, there is a load of crossover that can be applied to other exam boards too (OCR and Edexcel).

Is it possible to access mechanism marks if you don’t know the equation. Like if you couldn’t work out equation so did electrophilic substitution with No2 could you get a mark or two for showing you can do electrophilic substitution?
Thanks

What is the end product called? Is it (struggling to name aromatic compounds)
