Atlas Mikes UV Yarn is the best I have tried. What no lime in that Corona?? The fly tying will come with practice I am told. Just a tiny thought here, could you put the UV stuff on last so it looks like it is milking out over the egg ?? I went to Rotorua last year for a month and found that New Zealand made flies were really expensive . A 3 month visit the year before in the South Island I found the same thing. I will have to practice that fly when I come home this year, because I currently use real eggs.. Thank you for sharing ..

Nice work mate. Agree. The mcfly foam is what I use. The white glo bug yarn is great for the egg veil.

Yeah I heard that mcflyfoam stuff is the best, but all I've got is the standard egg yarn. It took ages, but I finally got the hang of it and now get some mint as eggs which the fish love
