Under Pressure | Soph & Matt The Distance Acoustic Cover

Well hello there boys and girls! Hope you're all doing well and thank you for joining us for the penultimate song from our latest album 'Focus'.
We've been wanting to do this song for a long time, but always felt like it'd be missing something without that iconic bass line, so when Soph offered to step up to the plate and take it on, we knew it was finally time.

There's definitely a bit towards the end where we aren't getting the chords exactly right, but for the most part, we think this turned out quite well... and we're in the debt of The Oaktree Of Peover for allowing us to come and shoot the video for this song at their beautiful venue.

We hope you enjoy it, and that you're able to accept the fact that Matt, like every other lesser human, is NOT Freddie Mercury. God knows It's taken him a long time to come to terms with this 🤣

In other news, the new kitten got his first taste of the outdoors yesterday. We thought it might calm him down by making him realise how small and vulnerable he is in comparison to the big, scary world.
Instead, it triggered a dormant blood-lust that saw him pouncing on poor Monkey at every blind corner in the house.

He's currently in solitary in the bathroom, and we've moved all the toilet rolls to a high shelf. He's howling away like his namesake...

In OTHER, other news... for the first time in our lives we're actually AHEAD of schedule for the next album. We're massively excited about it, lot least because it's probably the first record that doesn't contain a single 'filler' track (either something that was already recorded or that we thought might be quick and easy to arrange 🤣). Instead, each and every song on this new record will be one that we absolutely love and that makes us feel lucky to call ourselves musicians.
It'll be released on Bandcamp Friday, April 7th... And for once, we won't be up all night on the 6th trying to finish the artwork and get the LUFS right... Yay us!!!
