I read The Atlas Six at the beginning of September and I absolutely loved it. It was different from the books I usually read and is now one of my favorites.

Sheridan Le Fanu is an Irish writer from the 1800s. Carmilla was first published as a short story/novella in another book called In A Glass Darkly. It has inspired a number of films.

I’ve just started delving into the classics and origins of horror and gothic literature and film and wowowow I mean I’ve always liked and enjoyed the stories of Dracula and Frankenstein, Dr Jekyll, Dorian Gray etc etc and how fascinating it is that they were written literally centuries ago and yet we still adore and recreate and try to bring these stories into current times although the classics are always the best. But also the horror movies and the hammer productions and it’s sooo fascinating.
And don’t even get me started on the idea of the devil and dark magic and paranormal and witches!!pagans, witchcraft, the salem trials, Wicca, herbs, crystals, spirits and the legends of Halloween, dead walking the earth. there’s just so much to learn and read and listen to.
