Curly Girl Method Easy & Affordable! Aging Hair

Hi Ladies – in today's video I will share my quick and easy modified “Curly Girl Method” with you! I have aging hair, and as you know, aging hair can gradually loose its natural bounce and shine. Some of the products that I use in this video are not “Curly Girl Approved” per se, but they work well for me. I encourage you to do your own research, and choose the products that will work best for you.

I let my hair dry with the shirt wrapped around it overnight. Cuts way down on the diffusing afterwards. Best video on plopping I have seen.

I am 71 and have thick longer hair. Have always blown it straight (grew up wanting to be a surfer girl). My hairdresser was surprised recently with the amount of curl underneath the top layer of hair. Next time I'm going to talk to her about the curl. I also am...over 60 with curly hair that is all gray now; I use a similar method but if I run out of gloss I use baby oil in a pinch. Love the look. I get compliments all the time but I think I look like an aged 80's rocker!
